Worldchefs Congress 2022 -Emirates Salon Culinaire 2022
Worldchef Congress and Expo 2022-The biennial event for industry leaders and culinary innovators. To Network and expand your professional bonds with the most influential culinary body worldwide at Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Emirates Salon Culinaire (ESC) is a series of practical and display-based culinary competitions; entry to which is open to professional chefs, pastry chefs, cooks and bakers.
This expo took place at Abu dhabi national exhibition center (ADNEC) and was held from 30th May – 2nd June, the event saw the participation of chefs, culinary experts from all around the world. Notably, students from Masterclass Pakistan, Karachi, had the privilege to compete with over hundred of teams from over 110 different countries.
Team of 11 students from Masterclass Pakistan took from Karachi airport to Abu Dhabi. The event itself started from 30th may and students participated and won various medals in different categories, where the event also showcased a dedicated section for education & training to give a taste of the skills that can be developed on a junior and senior professional level.
Our students who participated in the Emirates Salon Culinaire 2022- won 10 medals including silver and bronze and 4 merit medals. Students achieved 4 silver and 3 bronze medals in the cookery practical and 3 bronze medals in the Baking Static display of tartelette creation. Shiza Wasim, Sabiha Kazmi, Qurat-Ul-Ain Asad, and Farhana Shafique won the Silver Medal, while Sabeen Siddiqui, Ramsha Khurram, Musab Ali Sahito,Hareem Kamal Khan, Dr Sana Tejani and Subina Khan won the Bronze Medal.
This was an amazing experience for our students to communicate and expand their professional bonds with fellow culinarians. We are tremendously proud of our students and their efforts in achieving this splendid milestone, representing the Pakistani Culinary Community and making our country proud!
ExpoCulinaire is the only dedicated event in UAE for Chefs, Pastry Chefs, Bakers, Cooks, students and Professionals from the HoReCa sector. A unique international trade exhibition and education event in collaboration with the Emirates Culinary Guild.
