  • All school-related and personal social media activity that impacts the institution

Privacy & Protection of Personal Data

Masterclass Pakistan may collect personal data including:

  • Names, contact details, and identification information
  • For international travelling Masterclass Pakistan may collect the copies of, Bank Account details, CNIC, PRC and Passport etc.  
  • Academic, attendance, and assessment records
  • Employment, payroll, and administrative records
  • Official communication records

Personal data is processed only for legitimate purposes, including:

  • Admissions, enrolment, and examinations

Definition

Social media includes all online platforms enabling communication or content sharing, such as Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, YouTube, blogs, forums, and similar platforms.

School-Related Social Media

Includes:

  • Accounts created or managed by staff for official purposes
  • Platforms operated under management direction using school resources
  • Student platforms created as part of coursework or official assignments

All institutional content requires prior management approval.

Personal Social Media Use

  • Staff and students may use personal social media outside school hours using personal devices
  • Such use must not disrupt school operations or harm the institution’s reputation
  • Serious misconduct may result in disciplinary or legal action

General Social Media Guidelines

All users must:

  • Act responsibly and respectfully online
  • Protect confidentiality and privacy
  • No negative, defamatory, or offensive content
  • Not post photos or information of others without written consent
  • Not sharing sensitive or private information

Grievances must be reported directly to management through official channels.

Staff Responsibilities

Staff must:

  • Use school social media only for professional purposes
  • Avoid personal relationships with students on social platforms
  • Share accurate, respectful, and error-free content
  • Seek management approval before posting on behalf of the institution

Student Responsibilities

Students must:

  • Maintain respectful online behaviour
  • Not engage in bullying or defamatory activity
  • Not post negative content about Masterclass Pakistan
  • Respect privacy of classmates and staff

Violation of this policy may result in disciplinary action, including expulsion or legal proceedings.

Parents, Spouses & Relatives

Parents and spouses are encouraged to:

  • Monitor and guide responsible social media use
  • Report inappropriate or harmful online behaviour
  • Refrain from posting negative or defamatory content related to the institution

Misconduct may lead to disciplinary or legal action.

Complaints & Enforcement

All complaints related to privacy or social media misuse will be handled under the institution’s Complaints Policy. Masterclass Pakistan reserves the right to take disciplinary or legal action where necessary.
